But What Do I Know? I'm Just One a Them East Coast Elitists

This is actually really cool and I'm so going. Remember kids, it's a "suggested" donation to get in. You can walk up to the desk, say "one, please" and slap down a quarter. And they'll let you in.

Now go. Look at some art. You might feel something.

MOMA had a Picasso exhibit in 1980 (before you were born) and they imported everything he ever did, and people were scalping tickets at five hundred bucks which back then was real money, and we got in free after hours owing to some horrible political skulduggery, and got to hang around until way after midnight, which was unfair to desperate art students and genuine cognoscenti but too bad.

Yes, you could say that 1980 was before I was born.

We used to be able to get into the Met, MOMA and the Whitney just by flashing our employee badge, but that perk went away when the economy tanked...I'm guessing our corporate donation got slashed and the quid pro quo went away with it. I like the Brooklyn Museum and the Cloisters better, anyway.

"Skulduggery." I love that word.

But I still get 15% off Lincoln Center stuff and 10% at the Apple Store.
